A LITTLE LESS “WHAT TIME IS THAT FOR ME?”

Give your next event a countdown.

Turn a date into relative time, ready to paste into your server.

Preparing your time tools…

From your time to everyone’s time

1

Pick your time

Set the date, time, and timezone of your event. Daylight-saving changes are checked for you.

2

Choose a format

Use a full date for event announcements or relative time for a countdown.

3

Copy into Discord

Paste the generated code into your message. Every reader sees the time where they are.

A few things worth knowing

How do Discord timestamps work?

Discord reads a Unix timestamp inside <t:seconds:format> and displays the time in each reader’s timezone and language. You only need to send one code.

Do I need a bot or a Discord login?

No. Copy the code and paste it into a normal Discord message. This tool does not connect to your Discord account.

Why does the preview look different in Discord?

This preview uses English and your selected preview timezone. Discord uses the reader’s language, timezone, and client formatting.

Does the countdown send a reminder?

No. The R format displays relative time, such as “in 2 hours”. It does not schedule a message, ping users, or act as a live stopwatch.

What happens when daylight-saving time changes?

Some local times do not exist when clocks move forward. Others happen twice when clocks move back. This tool asks you to choose a valid time or a specific occurrence instead of silently shifting it.
